Telangana SIR 2026 — schedule & guide

The Election Commission of India is running a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Telangana’s electoral rolls; the 2002 SIR roll searchable on this site is its reference list. Revised schedule and what to do at each step. Unofficial guide — always confirm with your BLO / ERO.

  1. House-to-house enumeration — till 3 Aug 2026. A Booth Level Officer (BLO) visits every home with enumeration forms. You'll be asked for your family's entry in the 2002 SIR roll: constituency (AC), booth (part) and serial number.
  2. Polling stations rearranged — by 3 Aug 2026. Administrative step by the ECI — nothing for you to do.
  3. Draft voter list published — 10 Aug 2026. Check that you and your family appear in the draft.
  4. Claims & objections — 10 Aug – 9 Sep 2026. Missing from the draft, or details wrong? File a claim / objection with your ERO inside this window.
  5. Disposal of claims — by 8 Oct 2026. EROs decide the claims — follow up on yours if you filed one.
  6. Final voter list published — 12 Oct 2026. Verify your family's entries one final time.
Before the BLO knocks
